Staff was very hospitable and friendly. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was wonderful. Good selection of food for breakfast. Convenient location to shops and restaurants. I would certainly stay here again.

Beautiful property and comfortable rooms. Dining room was excellent, food and staff superb. This was just a stop-over but I would gladly have stayed another couple of days.

la gentilezza e la cortesia diTUTTO lo staff, grazie.
Fano is a really lovely place. It offers art in the form of a museum and Foundation which runs exhibitions. The town itself was originally founded by the Romans and this is evidenced by the Arch of Augustus and other points of architectural and archaeological interest. It is on the sea and there are lovely walks to be had on the seafront and in the old town. It offers amazing food in the restaurants and bars and of course excellent local delicacies and wines.

A nice medieval town with surprisingly a lot of history a typical walled center and cobblestone streets. Some good restaurant around and a very laid-back population.
Osteria della Peppa is a fantastic place to try some local food.
The beaches are not great in the area though, for nicer beaches I would go south of Ancona and beyond.

Small but charming.
- Walking distance to everything you need.
- 30min-1h trip by train to some other places you might want to see, like Rimini, San Marino, Ancona.
- Choices of both relatively cheap and more expensive restaurants.
- A few nice museums and churches to visit.

Nice and calm town, but gets busy over weekend.
Nice and calm town, but gets busy over weekend.
Charming narrow streets between buildings. Lovely canal getting inside the town.
Beautiful main square and suroundings worth seeing too.
Fano is also a good base to trip around the area. It is located relatively close to San Marino (65 km), Rimini (55 km), Ancona (60 km), Urbino (45 km) and some other places.
Fantastic spot.

A perfect combination of a busy italian town (not major city) and a beach community. Fano is wonderful for food, wine, shopping, sandy and pebble beaches, towns and mountains to explore close by, a place to relax and soak in culture of a beautiful corner of the world.

I love Fano and have been going there for 20 years.
I love Fano and have been going there for 20 years. Fano is a medium-size city with fishing as one of its principal activities, so the atmosphere is unpretentious and very relaxed. In town and on the outskirts there is Roman and medieval architecture and close by are historical sites such as Gradara. It’s a short drive from Urbino, a beautiful medieval, hilltop city.
My favorite thing about Fano is the lido, port and beachwalk. There are numerous caffès, bars and restaurants, and the feeling on the beach is one of blissful relaxation. Five stars for Fano!
I thoroughly recommend staying at Villa Liberty in Fano! Giuseppe's thoughtfulness and care made our stay so special. He was incredibly helpful, recommending and booking great restaurants for us in Fano, and the breakfasts he made each morning were exceptional. The place itself has so much character, with a beautiful garden and stunning artworks decorating the communal areas. The room and bathroom was also lovely, equipped with everything we needed.
The place is just excellent ! The best for having a stay in Fano. The surrounding is quiet, green, and lovely to go for a walk. I simply loved it.
The place is big, confortable beautifuly decorated, you have all you need, as well the coffee and sweets in the morning..
Then what to say about the host,...he is very professional, clear, friendly and all time helpful . I really recommend this place. I certainly will come back.
The breakfast was awesome. The hosts made fresh cakes and sandwiches almost every day. They also provided freshly squeezed fruit juice every morning. The room was spatious and clean. The hosts were kind and spoke English very well. Note that the place is close to the highway and downtown fano, but noise pollution from these is very little, you really feel as if in the countryside.
Lovely property. Very clean. Great location - port, restaurants, historic centre and beaches all within easy walking distance. Excellent facilities - appreciated the washing machine and drying facilities and also all the small extras - e.g. coffee capsules and clothes washing tablets. Good WiFi and Aircon.
Perfect location, in the heart of Fano. Walking distance to all restaurants and sights, 15 min walk to the beach, free parking closeby. Loved to wake up to the morning bustle of the cafes in the piazza. Plenty of space in the apartment, with 4 extra beds (fitting some 6 people in total). Very friendly owners.
A small boutique style hotel in a restored castellated building occupying an elevated site with commanding views of Fano and the sea. very relaxed and friendly with charming staff.
Nothing is too much trouble and lots of fabulous local knowledge on wine, culture including nearby towns like Urbino.
Great location, the hotel is right across the old city wall in walking distance to shops, bars, and restaurants. The hotel also offers bicycles, which you can use to get to the nearby beach.
Also, rooms come with air conditioning, which is not always the case with some hotels in Europe.
Brilliant location- close enough to the beach to walk yet enough away to not suffer the night partying. A short walk to the lovely historic and commercial center. The mainly seafood restaurant at the hotel, Casa Orazi, is superb! Breakfast was very fine too.
Wonderful host who also is a good chef and makes a great breakfast with a sweet surprise if he didn’t sleep through the night. Great location - 10 minute walk to the beach and only a few minutes to the historic part of Fano.

The location is excellent, easy access to the beach and the centro storico. At this time of year parking right outside hotel. Very clean and they allow dogs.
