Excellent, walkable-to-downtown location, comfortable beds with lovely linens, and very good continental breakfast with hard boiled eggs, yogurt and fresh fruit. All this and parking is included means this hotel is a great deal. We also think of our entire 12 day New England road trip, that Hotel Portsmouth had the friendliest and all around best staff. As a side note, because the city has a working, busy port, we are glad that we didn’t pay the higher nearby prices for the river views they were offering.

If you're used to getting pampered by luxury hotels, I can definitely say Casa Alchimia will meet, if not exceed your expectations. It is a hidden gem amongst all the old and outdated properties in New England. The hosts were so nice and accommodating to our family, and the breakfast was amazing. The location was excellent and great for walking into Freeport. We will definitely be staying here again in all of our future stays in Freeport.

On arrival, Angela, the check lady informed us our room had been upgraded to a King Suite, as my wife and I were staying at the hotel as part of our honeymoon trip around New England. Our King Suite was amazing and when we got to our suite, we found a complimentary bottle of drink the hotel had supplied. Thanks once again to Angela and her team for the lovely extras that had been arranged for us. it made our stay at the hotel even more special.

Harbor inn was a fantastic place to vacation. When we first arrived I was amazed how welcoming the inn looked like. I felt as I couldve stayed there weeks an end. They put the Kenn in Kennebunkport. The manager Bill was one of the kindest men I’ve ever met. If I were to visit Kennebunkport again I would not hesitate to choose harbor inn. Was a good room on south side of the building overlooking West Street. Bed was good my wife liked it but a little soft for me. Bathroom was clean and had a nice night light. We did not spend a lot of time in the room. The coffee shop in the lobby is great with excellent lattes and great croissants, scones and breakfast items from Seven Stars bakery one of the best in the New England area.

Stayed in the main building King room, which we have stayed in many times. The rooms are each unique and offer amenities for our stay. We love the quaint nature of this New England boutique hotel. You have continued to make updates to the info for guests which is wonderful. Check-in, text updates, property services via a link on my phone and easy checkout. Great steps for me ! Thanks !

Fabulous location in centre of North Conway. Lovely New England hotel with really homely room decor and love the Gas Stove heater in the room. I've stayed before and love the experience. They don't serve breakfast but there are plenty of eateries to get breakfast within short walking distance within North Conway. Have stayed before and will be staying again in future.

This place is ADORABLE. Seriously - it's exactly the kind of boutique hotel you'd want to stay in for all the cozy New England small town vibes. Staff is beyond lovely and every interior is just so beautiful and well thought out. So many snacks in the main dining area through the day and a delicious breakfast each morning. Wish I'd had more than one night here!

This hotel is located in Camden, in Maine at about 1h30 from Bar Harbour and the Acadia National Forest. Very typicall american hotel with nice furnitures in new england style, big rooms, soft bed, very good clean, Housekeeping every day under request, very good and typicall american breakfast, with fresh handmade biscuits, very kind and professional staff. Super!

Cute old school charming hotel. Rooms were a little dated but charming in the New England way. the location could not be better and the price was amazing (also included nice breakfast spread). If you are there to explore Newport there is no better place. Stay somewhere else if you want resort feeling and seclusion from town activities.

This is a hotel which knows how to treat its guests. By far and away the best hotel we have stayed in on our New England road trip so far. Beautiful room, lovely new bathroom with gorgeous bathroom products, hot decent shower. Fantastic breakfast. The open fire and welcome drink were lovely bonuses. Would love to stay here again!

We used hotel this a stop over on our road trip around new England. It was okay for that and I think would be an excellent destination if you were skiing. It does not really have anything to offer out of the ski season, i.e. in the autumn when we travelled. The room was okay, breakfast was disappointing.

Bedding was surprisingly very comfortable. AC worked great! Breakfast was delicious, and so was the New England Coffee that was served. Location is good because this hotel is not in the heart of noisy late-night fun, and yet everything is still within close walking distance. Positives end there!

We stayed in ten different hotels on our trip through New England, and this was both the cheapest and the best on our journey. The room was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed, and the staff (at least the one woman I dealt with) was friendly and knowledgeable. We’ll be back!

Very friendly staff. Don't be fooled by the vintage look on the outside. This place has been updated and looks and feels like a Holiday Inn Express on the inside. The wife and I took a 16 day trip to New England and the beds here were the most comfortable of 8 different hotels.

What a beautiful New England beach style hotel. We loved our stay in the Edgewater. The beach in front of the hotel was a wonderful place for a stroll. Rooms were very comfortable. Great place to stay! We would love to come back in the summer months to stay again and see the area.

very modern and clean hotel. fantastic location and the view from the room were amazing. we were blown away with how polite and helpful staff were. the free coffee in the morning was a huge bonus. we did a New England trip for our honeymoon and this was by far our favourite hotel.

Amazing place. Not just a stay but a New England expierence. The hotel has thought of everything - and more. An incredible stay with sublime surprises - you will never forget. The concept is cute, unique and remarkable. Service outstanding. And yes it is Soooo Insta worthy.

best hotel we stayed in during 2 weeks and 11 other hotels travelling around New England. Best ambience, food, style and decor, location and staff - Alison, the Manager, was absolutely brilliant - helpful, very welcoming, empathetic. Edgartown is truly beautiful

Can't beat the location. We drove to Boston, left our vehicle with the valet and walked to TD Garden, Quincy Market, the New England Aquarium and Museum of Science. When we were checking out, the valet was prompt and very helpful.
