Perfect location for hyde park. The hotel was having renovation work done, which we were made aware of. There was scadfolding and tarpaulin around the hotel, but once inside it was fine. Staff were polite, helpful and friendly.

Went on a river cruise which was brilliant enjoyed every minute it was from Westminster Pier to Greenwich and back. Very impressed and loved the commentary and history of landmarks along the route. Would highly recommend this trip We also went to Madam Tussards again this was brilliant very interesting and would recommend to definitely do this. Saw the musical Oliver at the Guildgood Theatre. Outstanding performance 👏 excellent can't rate it any higher. We went to Covern Garden which is a must when in London. We eat here and it was very nice. If you don't mind the underground then the tube is the quickest way to get around. The only downside to it is the weekend we were there it was extremely hot and the underground is a hot place at the best of times, also some stations don't have lifts or escalators and this can be very tiring for older people and impossible with mobility issues especially when you have luggage to carry around with you.

We loved the Natural History Museum.

We loved the Natural History Museum. If you are going plan ahead and book a slot to avoid the queue or go at 10 and get in before the crowds. Suss out the underground it is a brilliant way to get around. There are always staff to help you too. Try getting a last minute ticket to a show from the vendors at Leister square. We loved our trip to the theatre!

London continues to be an amazing city, full of attractions for all tastes (and pockets). Big Ben, Westminster, St James' Park, Tower Bridge, the tube, British Museum, Madame Tussaud's...all were amazing. London Eye and The Shard were good too.

Our third trip to London and we loved it - so much to see and do and something for everyone. Tower bridge experience was very interesting as was the cutty sark and hms belfast - all made my husband very happy. We went to see hades town at the lyric - fabulous show - I would highly recommend it. We also did the cable car which was great to get a Birds Eye view of the city. Travelling was easy - we used the hop on hop off ticket for the Thames clipper to see the sights close to the river and we used the underground and local buses to get everywhere else - I was a bit unsure of the last 2 but they were actually so handy.

    Download the app CityMapper.

Download the app CityMapper. It was invaluable when getting about as it let you have the various tube/walking/bus options. Walking around is actually easier than using the bus as they are so hot and tend to get stuck in traffic. The underground is great to hop on/off but they are very warm and busy. We did use Uber a few times but getting about on foot and tube is very easy.

Princes Garden is centrally located, few minutes away from both underground and bus stations. The price is also cheap compared to other similarly located places. The rooms are spacious enough and clean. In comparison to other hotels we stayed in in London, this one has been so far the best one. If you don't need/want luxury, want a clean room with enough storage space and be in the city centre within twenty minutes, this is the best you can do. The staff was also friendly and welcoming, ready to help with anything we might need :)

Good location, clean apartments with good facilities, helpful main office reception and a short walk to the apartment which was ready early which was a bonus. Stayed for a concert and the Eventim arena which is a short walk away, lovely food at The Grove which is next to the reception building and you get 20% off there as a guest if you take your paperwork with you. No parking but you can book a car park or driveway within easy reach of the hotel easily or get the train/tube in.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Dorsett Apartments – an ideal location in Notting Hill, undoubtedly one of the best districts in London. The studios are perfectly equipped, the beds spacious and comfortable, and the staff among the friendliest and most helpful I’ve ever encountered in any London hotel. Every need was met with care and attention.
