It was a beautiful location, felt completely away from everything. The staff were always very friendly and helpful, someone was there at the parking when we arrived to help us with our bags. The game was beautiful and the boat cruise relaxing and nice.

How clean the unit was. Thats what I appreciated the most about the place. The restaurant staff were also very friendly. There were ample seats by the pool area. One will never run out of things to do at this restaurant, they have so much activities to do, that I could gladly recommend it to friends and family. Also liked the animals that randomly roam around the resorts.

Mziki is a family run private reserve, they put themselves out to accommodate you. Although the reserve is smaller than some, it has the added extra of the river and dams which attract more bird life. You do not meet 10 jeeps when viewing the animals out is much more personal service. We really enjoyed our stay, this is our 2nd visit and I may return again in the future.

It is so beautiful and well worth the 20km dirt-road you need to travel to get there. We saw beautiful buck and even the Giraffes! The staff are customer-focussed, extremely helpful and friendly - we just loved them! The two pools are so inviting and serene - you relax completely. The restaurant is in an ideal setting and the food was yum! It is very easy to get around, because the Rangers are so knowledgeable. We will absolutely be visiting again!

    The staff were absolutely superb.

The staff were absolutely superb. Friendly, helpful and attentive. The food was excellent and sufficient. The drinks were decently priced. The activities well run and enjoyable. Only negative was that the facilities could be more handicap friendly, especially railings at steps and in bathrooms.

Our trip to Vaalkop Dam was an adventurous and beautiful experience. We loved watching the sun set whilst cruising on the dam with their barge. Also the canoeing was awesome. If you looking for a peaceful experience, try the canoeing activity.

you are limited to resort. unless you travel 70+-km to Pilansberg don't expect big 5 or wow animal life very hot but is still very worth the drive game drive and raft ride to see the ecology and learn from the area. the facilities mean that you can relax, eat, sleep, walk etc without feeling bored or claustophobic

I really enjoyed how the rangers saw to your every need and they really catered well for children. Offering activities and including them in so much. They let my kids drive the barge on the sunset cruise, they were super stoked. Marshmallow braais at the fire and games on the lawn for them. It is probably the best value for money weekend break we have ever had.
