The breakfast was absolutely incredible!! Home made confitures, several French cheeses, baguette, croissants, juice and great coffee with the lotion of having tea. We very much enjoyed our conversations with our host, Michael, who very much made us feel at home and was a very welcoming host and he has the gift of making guests feel very much at home!! We shared how we were spending our time during the visit and he showed us the different projects that he was doing on le Petit Cottage and the land. WE were very impressed with his talent for decoration and his talent at bringing more light into the house and at making us feel very much at home!! It is definitely a place that we'll return to! Michael has the gift of making people feel welcome!! We travel to France often and this was one of our top experiences for a stay!!

We stayed in Nyons for a week.. but we were not "exploring"...
We stayed in Nyons for a week.. but we were not "exploring" Nyons. We decided the town based on the MTB riding in the area (4seasonsbikepark) and then explored the area close to Nyons in all cotes du rhone.. Nyons is really cozy but can feel dead during the week and of course in 1-2 days you saw it all..mostly all.. but you are at 1.15h drive from Nimes, Avignon, Orange, Montelimar (really close), Valence.. cheers tasting all the fantastic secret domaines around !luisgutierodFrance - 10Scored 10

Great village to visit and the cave co operative us a great deal for some some nice wines and treats including cakes, olives and skin care. A fantastic place to visit with many great little finds. From fantastic food in the many restaurants. Walks by the river with the dog very refreshing. Great old town to explore with many great views to soak up no matter the weather. The market is great to visit as it has got lots of variety and is huge you can take the whole day meandering the streets. Nyons is an ancient town — a Greek trading post before the Romans arrived. Some of the Roman presence is still evident, as it is for many towns in that region. It is an easy drive from Nyons to many Rhone vineyards, and the backroad drives themselves are spectacular, with stunning topography, fields of lavender, and many picturesque towns.

Butter, jams, teas, coffee, olive oil, salt & pepper. It was a delight to be able to cook some meals. The garden and sitting area, complete with a hammock was a very relaxing place to sit or have a meal. Nyons has an excellent market, food, clothing, bags, hats etc and gets extremely busy, it is also a lovely friendly town.

The pool was great after a long drive and the mental Jacuzzi bath was fab too (scared the bejesus out of the missus). We had another great stay!
