We had a lovely little room in the villa, which was immaculately clean, had an excellent en suite bathroom and an outdoor terrace area/balcony up the stairs from the room. There's also a fridge in the room. The location is excellent and if you walk from the ferry along the front before cutting up to the right to the villa up the last alley before the square (past Kebab Factory and White Rabbit) then follow the sign to the library, you don't have too many steps to navigate with your bags! The hosts are amazing and really friendly and helpful.

This is the best location you will get in Hvar. There are a lot of steps and this one was an easy climb compared to other hotels. The host let us check in early and was so nice! We felt welcomed almost like a homestay. The building used to be a family home and the host is very passionate about it - Great hospitality. The views from the studio apartment were amazing and would highly recommend, even though there are more stairs. Bedding is washed with lavender and smells amazing. It feels like home.

We loved our stay at Vila Maria the views from our terrace were stunning. Located just off the square the location could not have been better. Our room was really comfortable, the air-con worked great (and we needed it!), the decor was bright&light and room was well equipped. Antonia kindly met us off the ferry to take us to the accommodation. There are steps/stairs up to the accommodation but well worth it for the Terrace views, we didn't find them a problem. Antonia gave us lots advice and recommendations and was always happy to answer our queries. Maria the owner was a lovely friendly host. It was just a real pleasure to stay there. Hvar Old Town is a beautiful place it reminded me very much of Dubrovnik. So glad I came.
