I want to especially commend Gaynor, who was at reception when we arrived. We had a difficult and over-long road journey and Gaynor, who could see how tired we were, went out of her way to see us settled into our rooms and for dinner. I was also very grateful for to the young man, whose name I unfortunately didn't get, for washing our car

We love the food and vibe here, with lovely views (we saw a full thunderstorm on display over dinner!) We received a complimentary bottle of wine from the owner for our anniversary. Rita and staff always makes us feel so comfortable and welcome, we were sad to leave.

Loved the location, in close proximity to Robertson central and only a few minutes' drive from restaurants, the Robertson train station, and wine shops.
The unit was clean and had everything we needed for a short stay.
The host, Jikkie, was great. Shared all necessary info with me before the trip and also welcomed us and showed us around upon arrival. Housekeeping and farm workers were very friendly.
We loved the farm and all the animals too!

Be prepared to do lots of wine tasting ie Van Loveren, Bon Courage and Four Cousins, to name but a very few. Robertson Wine on the River is a must visit. Most wine estates in one sport alongside the Breede River. You cannot get a better venue for wine tasting. Even boat trips on the river that include wine tasing. You have to visit Roberts at least once in your lfetime. I promise you will go back for more....wine !!!! Also one of the biggest self made mazes and one of the largest and most beautiful succulant gardens in the Southern Hemispere. Both are at a place called Soekershof just outside Robertson on the road to Ashton

Robertson is a beautiful, clean and well managed little town in the wine region of the Western Cape. There are a lot of famous and not so famous wine farms in the region who offer wine tastings. Most have restaurants or offer something to eat.

I really only visited Roberstson to attend a function at De Beuld (magnificent location and restaurant that is a definite must visit!) I was enchanted with the Roberstson countryside and would recommend that you book accommodation on the outskirts of town in the farming and wine producing areas, as opposed to in the town center. It truly is beautiful.

Robertson has many delightful vineyards offering walk in wine tasting and many offer dining too. Robertson is sppplied with 3 good supermarkets. The scenery is stunning and the towns of MONTAGU and MACGREGOR nearby to visit.
It was a very convenient location in the centre of Robertson. The bed was super comfy and it had a great shower. The best thing about Leo's is the magnificent garden and beautiful old buildings. The hosts were lovely, very accommodating and friendly people, and right on tap for any questions. We were in the area for a wedding so appreciated being able to return at any time, with our own keys and access. Its also close to everything, including coffee shops and quick access to the main arteries to other destinations
What a delightful establishment. The staff and owners went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Amore did a wonderful job of seeing to our requests. The garden is huge and loads of shade for those hot days. The pool is massive and there is lots of space to sit and relax. Breakfast was delicious. It's well located. Near to wine farms as well as Robertson's main shopping area. Absolutely delighted by our stay. Highly recommend.
Very nice facility that is decorated stylishly while honoring its past. The location is ideal for exploring the Robertson wine route and close to restaurants. The house is 'guarded' by Fred, the local resident Alpaca, that can be found near the front door. The owner is very responsive and helpful and a great place to stay
The house is beautiful! We enjoyed the big spacious rooms and the pool saved us from the extreme heat in Robertson! The host was wonderful, she was easy to reach and sent us many tips and suggestions for our time there! Absolutely wonderful place to rent for a bigger family or a group of friends! Definitely recommended!
Mountains, dams, vineyards, clean air, views to remember! We loved our stay in the immaculate cottage with a beautiful garden. Everything you need for a a self-catering weekend. Thanks to the hosts Charles and Jane. If ever we need to stay in Robertson - we will stay at Klaasvoogds Cottages again.
Each room is VERY well catered for… small kettle, toaster and basic cutlery. Basic appliances and even electric blankets on the bed!
Very friendly and welcoming host, Rina.
Makes you feel very welcome.
Lovely stay. Will definitely be back when staying in Robertson.
Thank you.
We loved the staff at the Robertson Small Hotel. The staff were absolutely phenomenal and we will definitely be back. From the front of house, to the security guard, we loved everyone. Thank you for making us feel so special and well done for running such a beautiful establishment!
This is an excellent location to get away from the hustle and bustle of city live. Robertson is just around the corner for you to explore a lot of wine farms and do some sight seeing. I can really recommend this stay. Winter or summer it caters for all needs.
Beautiful old farm feeling. Nice and clean. Beautiful setting. Relaxing feeling. House is nice and cool and well ventilated. Entertainment area is beautiful. Beds are comfortable. Beautiful views. Very well located. Hist is very accommodating and friendly.
Beautiful location on a working olive farm. The house was perfect, really big with an awesome wood burner to warm the place up. Kitchen was fully equipped and the bbq on the deck was a winner. Allison was a great host and we will certainly be back!
The ambience, this hotel redefined what I now believe a five-star experience to be, the staff were unbelievable. The bedroom exceptional the bathroom out of this world, the value was stupendous. Overall a great and five star experience
The building and the location were stunning, it made for a very comfortable, peaceful 3 night stay. It was a home from home and gave us a good opportunity to revisit the Robertson area which has plenty to do.
The cottage was well equipped and clean, with sufficient space between them for privacy. Nice bonus was the generator on the farm, so no loadshedding! Overall great value for money.
Location outside of Robertson is perfect. Fifteen minutes into town, but it's located near some good wineries and don't miss the olive farm. The breakfast was terrific.
