Location was ideal for a quiet stay, but with an interesting town [Metalica] close by with good restaurants, shops, etc. Lovely gardens to stroll round with a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside and Vinyards. The house itself is an old hunting lodge from the 1760s I think, and has been lovingly restored and touched up. The room was spacious, with air con, quiet and plenty of storage. The bed comfortable and the breakfast spread amazing! Best of all, Carlo, Marilena and Benjamin made it feel like home with their kindness and willingness to help.

It's a peaceful and quiet location. The historical house is very clean. The bedrooms have a great view over the hills and the village nearby. The terrace is wonderful to sit. The italian-style breakfast is simple but excellent. We will be back soon.
