Facilities, location, parking, very helpful staff especially in ski shop, coped well with late evening arrival, classy entertainment in bar, free shuttle bus to restaurants, cage lift directly across road, ski shop in basement, ski-in to ski shop storage when weather permits which it did when I stayed. The best place I’ve stayed in over many years going to Alpe d’Huez.

We booked this appartment for the two of us. 2 friends. With the double bed in the livingroom. You pull this down out of the closet we had two separate sleeping rooms. The appartment is very clean with a good looking bathroom and kitchen. And on top of that a spacious view over a big part of L’alpe D’Huez and the mountains. A stunning view from the 9th etage. Ski bus in front of the appartment, in the centre of the village. Perfect stay.

Great town with good bars and restaurants and lots to do, but the ski area has shocking dated lifts and gondulas rather than chairs. As many French resorts they need to spend like the Austrian's do. Also the standard of piste bashing is poor, with some reds not done at all. All runs lead into town which is great. In conclusion. good town, let down by the lifts and quality of piste work at night.

Large resort, great lift access from village to the main slopes - Thought the resort was a bit pricey for eating out and drinks but to be expected I suppose.
Great for beginners and intermediates.
ESF private lessons were excellent
We eat at Smithy's, Pinocchio, La Racletterie and grabbed a pixxa from the restuarant above Underground Bar - All were very good

Lovely resort, perfect for families, good mix of different level pistes. It was definitely quieter at Easter than Feb half term, no queues for any of the lifts. The town itself is quite small but with plenty of places to eat and a few shops. We ate Le 37 and the raclette, which was lovely. On the mountain the best place to eat is Chalet Du Lac Besson, beautiful setting with amazing food.

Alpe D Huez is a nice town.
Ski access is good. Plenty of nice runs back to town for all levels of ability. Good height at 1800m up to 3300m means more snow sure than some resorts.
Outdoor swimming pool and ice rink in centre.
Good options for food and drink around town and on the mountain.

This is a good ski resort but affected by limited snow of some of the lower and main pistes, which become difficult by mid-afternoon. Still lots of piste to ski
There’s a few good bars and lots of decent restaurants. La Folie Douce is always extremely lively and busy.
Staff were so friendly and helpful, a credit to the hotel.
Food was incredible, first class presentation
Location great, close to the Underground Bar and right near the Alp Express lift to take you to the bottom of the slopes.
Rooms quite small, but clean, lovely large heated towel rail in bathroom, hot powerful shower, plenty of hooks for hanging ski jackets etc
Would return again for sure !
Thanks for a lovely stay
Room was lovely with mountain view & so warm which was great coming back from a day out on the slopes. Bed was comfortable and had TV & nice size wardrobe & chest drawers. Great location with ski in/out & close to tourist information, shops & restaurants. Nice bar opposite hotel. Shower room was perfect. Sauna & steam room was available but we didn’t get a chance to use however a nice additional choice.
This was a very comfortable stay in a very grand hotel. My room was snug but comfortable, with views of the mountain. The in house restaurant was very good, for breakfast and dinner. The staff were helpful and friendly. They also had a locked area for parking your bicycle. 👍 It was also the hotel highest up the slopes, that I could tell, so a few more meters of walking/biking to get there!
For a 2 star hotel it was really excellent and good value for money.
The evening meals were delicious, the rooms are clean and comfortable.
We had a balcony with a fabulous view.
The staff are lovely and very helpful.
The added bonus is the hotel is right opposite the ski slope.
We were also able to park our car right outside at no extra cost.
We are planning to return next year.
Le Petit Prince is in an excellent quiet location with fantastic views of the mountains from the rooms and the terrace. The rooms are very comfortable and relaxing, and have a lovely balcony. The food at the hotel including the buffet breakfast is excellent. The Manager Eric, Gabbie and all staff do everything they can to make your stay as memorable as possible. Highly recommend.
The best part was the views from our room balcony and the restaurant. The hotel was not too close to the Bergers lifts but the town had free shuttle access which was very convenient. Lots of restaurants close by. Staff were friendly, cheerful, and helpful. They gave us some enegry bars and chocolates for free when I was low on sugar late night. Thank you!
The hotel is located in a great place, close to the ice rink, swimming pool, sports center and good restaurants.
Unfortunately, the apartments are very small and it's hard to unpack even in them (and we are a family experienced in traveling and we don't take too much luggage). For this price, you can expect a much higher standard in other resorts
We stayed here one night at the end of a week long cycling tour. The location is excellent for cyclists, as it's right across from the official Tour de France stage finish. It's a basic hotel that could use some attention, but works fine for its price range and location. Very nice view.
Staff very supportive and nice.
Apartment very clean and organized, kitchen has lots of utilities.
Radiators throughout the apartment.
Good beds and plenty of closet place.
Good location for ski in ski out.
Private garage with gate is great.
Great hotel, pool, spa, spacious bedrooms - plenty of storage. Great boot room & access straight to gondola.
Lovely treatments at the spa & spa staff were excellent. The head waiter at breakfast was so welcoming.
The room was a good size and the hotel facilities (pool, boot room etc.) were really good. Location is great - about 10 min walk from the centre, and close to a ski lift too making it easy to get to the slopes.
Location was good for skiing. Very close to a liaison lift to the pistes.
Completely renewed, modern design.
Staff were helpful.
Cool decorations across the hotel.
Excellent value.
Lovely hotel, great location. The spa downstairs is nice too. Staff really helpful. The ski shop Alain’s sports downstairs is really useful and good value.
