It is great location but taxi fare is quite high although there are many places in walking distance still there is no street light after 07-08 PM although it's very safe area people of jibhi are very supportive and helpful but it's very cold so pack everything accordingly...the travelling distance from buses are way tooo long it almost took 16hrs to reach back home (Delhi) to us but yeah if you have you have your own vehicle it is gonna be fine...roads are really scary specially after flood so make your trip accordingly inshort i rate this place 06/10.

The best thing was staying by the river.
The best thing was staying by the river. There are many options (hostels, rooms, etc.) and they are very modern in decor. You can have walk around the river and also take a dip if you want. During this time (June) the river water was crystal clear.

The stay was very short - just an overnight stay. However, the place was amazing. Hardly any traffic - people or otherwise. Realized the feeling of literally being on Nature's lap. Food was provided by the hosts of the home stay as there was no other choice. However, it was homemade and tasty. Roads are narrow and steep, hence recommended to reach the place before dark.

Jibhi is the accessible place which hasn't got it's fair share of attention. Depending upon if you're a traveller or a tourist there are spots which people from both categories would appreciate and enjoy spending time at.
1.) Jibhi Waterfalls
2.) Kulhi Katandi
3.) Chehni Kothi (fort in the remote village of Chehni)
4.) Sheshnag Temple
5.) Bada Gushaini

This place is a hidden beauty and I would recommend all my travel mates to definitely put it on their list. You will get your adrenaline rush. Well... I did. The place is not fancy and you won't find big shops but nature lovers will meet all your expectations. The place has a lovely waterfall and the hike to the waterfall is just breathtaking.
there are short treks that you can do from JIbhi. We had only two days so we could explore only one place and we chose to trek to Sarolsar Lake. It's 5 km one side and 10 in total. The beauty of the route will keep you high on energy and it's an easy trek so beginners can enjoy this beautiful trek.
It's a great place just to relax and read your book at a riverbank. its like dream place with houses on hills and people with warm smiles.

A great unconventional place that should be definitely be on your list. A lot of places to checkout in the area. Good to stay with family and friends, but best to stay with your significant other as the place really brings the romantic out of you. It's peaceful and scenic.
