Property info

Casa Marta has one double bedroom with sea-view terrace and ensuite bathroom with shower, one twin bedded room with sea-view window and bathroom as soon as out of the room and a single room with no view; a kitchen/dining room with sat tv and ac and a big furnished sea-view terrace. You should know: Casa Marta is a holiday house (NOT A HOTEL) with an equipped kitchen to eventually prepare your own meals. The house is located in a staircase ( NO LIFT) which you access from the Positano townhall (also from the schools but the way up the steps can be challenging if you are not trained so we suggest the 113 stairs down from the town hall, litterally 3 minutes walk), so we suggest you bring small luggage or ask us to book the porters at an affordable charge ahead of time if you think you cannot menage your own. If you keep in touch while travelling on your arrival day and you send a message or call one hour before arriving, we’ll arrange the porters to be there on time. Please notice that gxxgle maps does not work well in Positano and if you look for via Scalinatella it may drive you wrong: so you should reach the Positano town hall square (via Marconi 111), opposite the post office, close to Bar Internazionale.

Neighborhood info

Casa Marta has a spectacular sea-view terrace and is very close to the Positano townhall, to the access trekking staircase to Santa Maria del Castello and the "Chiesa Nuova" Sita bus stop to visit the Amalfi Coast and the local bus to Montepertuso/ Nocelle which is the access to the Path of Gods towards Praiano or Bomerano. To the main square Piazza Mulini/ main beach, you walk 15 minutes down through the staircase where the house is located (as most of the Positano houses) + main street so the house is not suggested for the ones having knees problems. To go back home we suggest you take the comfortable internal bus, which leaves often from the square Mulini and stops over Casa Marta at the "Chiesa Nuova" bus stop (buy tickets on-board or cheaper ones at the tabacchi store at the square). Along the way down, 5 minutes walk from Casa Marta, are our two family run restaurants Saraceno d’oro and Mediterraneo. The property is provided with fully equipped kitchen, air-conditioning in the kitchen/ dining room and sat TV in the kitchen/dining room and is very close to the mini-market, to the Bar Internazionale pastry bar, a tabacchi store and few good restaurants.
