Lovely location near the river Thames which was nice to walk by in the morning and evenings. Good local area with shops and restaurants and the train station goes straight into London. Really easy to access nearby transport links and Heathrow airport too.

We stayed in Staines because it's close to Windsor and we were visiting the castle. The view of the river Thames from our hotel (The Swan) was lovely. It was interesting to watch so many different boats, kayaks and barges passing by. We went for a short walk around the hotel and everything looked clean and very serene.

Hotel has lovely views right on River Thames.
Hotel has lovely views right on River Thames. Staines Town shops are poor. Plenty of eateries everywhere. Interesting buildings if you look for them, but shopping is going downhill fast. I used to live here & notice the difference. If you love the river, you will like Staines-upon-Thames & you can walk a long way on the path.

Being on the river Thames is one of its great advantages and walking along the Thames Path is pleasant at any time of the year. There is an excellent Sainsbury's and many other good stores and supermarkets.
I stayed at the Mercure Hotel, which was comfortable and good value. Other friends have also recommended the Swan Hotel.
This was self catering so no breakfast included.
The property is an excellent size very close to Staines mainline station. There are shops within walking distance and everything is close by.
The property is well equipped and I was able to cook my own food with ease. Fridge freezer, microwave oven and cooker all included. The apartment is huge and would be ideal for a traveling couple who wanted to explore the nearby area. Overall excellent and Joseph was very helpful. I would definitely stay again.
Everything! The room was well presented, clean and full of plenty of choices for breakfast from a variety of cereals, croissants, bread, fruit, yoghurts, and lots of choices for drinks, both hot and cold. It was just wonderful, better than a hotel room as everything was on tap, no hassles or stresses!
The host was just lovely, too, and so helpful that she's literally thought of everything. Which made the whole stay just perfect!
Fabulous apartment in Staines with top notch facilities.Spotlessly clean, with toiletries , tea , coffee and even a washer dryer. Very handy for Twickenham (short train journey) and nearby to lots of pubs and restaurants in Stains itself . We only stayed one night, but we will be back when it that neck of the woods .
We wanted to stay out last few nights outside of London with easy access to the city. This worked perfectly with clouds access to the train stain in Staines and short run to Waterloo Station. Staff was friendly and helpful and had good suggestions for eating and exploiting. They also served a great English breakfast.
The property was clean, the staff were lovely and the breakfast was tasty. The room my partner and I stayed in was beautifully finished and was so clean - we had relocated to The Swan Hotel from a different hotel as that was disgusting and made me uneasy so coming here put my anxiety to rest.
Great location close to centre of Staines but handy for M25 and for visiting local attractions.Modern well equipped apartment with secure parking(real bonus in this area),spotlessly clean and host(Linda)very helpful from initial booking and through our stay.Definitely would recommend
The staff were friendly/helpful and the place was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was excellent as others have said. We tried the Saffrons restaurant for our evening meal (adjoined to the hotel) and that was also delicious. I would book in again if I was in the area.
The location in Staines was great. It was very near High Street and right around the corner was a fantastic food court. The house itself was spacious and comfortable and the facilities well kept. Finally, the service was amazing, questions were answered promptly.
it’s a very cozy hotel in a quite area - with a 10 min walk to the midtown market.
it is 20 min drive to Windsor and 30 min drive to Legoland.
They serve a decent English breakfast- a long with fruits and cereals
Attention to detail- amazing self serve continental breakfast. Spotlessly clean and calm and quiet. This is by no means a hotel - it is an awesome BEd and Brekkie- but it puts almost all hotels to the test.
i love everything about the House Owner, She's polite, kind Hearted &&& Helping by nature! Must Book You'll get each n every lil facility over there which you usually don't get in the Hotel...!!!
The accommodation was exceptionally clean and comfortable. It was also very quiet so a good nights was had. Great location as not far from Staines shopping centre and train station.
The location was very central in Staines and it was an easy walk to all restaurants and malls. The apartment was airy, spacious and had all the amenities for a long stay.
Home away from home! All the amenities included that you need from tea and coffee to washer/dryer. Lots of space. Never a problem to park unlike local hotel chain.
