Overlooking one of the thousand curves of the Amalfi road, Casa Le Calle is located at 2 km from the center of Positano in the direction of Amalfi. In the heart of Laurito, Casa Le Calle represents an ideal refuge for travelers who prefer to experience typical atmospheres, surrounded by greenery and escape the chaos of the town. It is a comfortable house renovated in 2017 with modern features combined with the charm of its history, as shown by the typical flooring from the early 1900s. From the street, just 20 steps will lead you to the terrace where, in the shade of the magnificent wisteria, you can admire a romantic sunset overlooking the Faraglioni of Capri, sip your aperitif or take a refreshing shower after a day on the boat. The modern kitchen is equipped beyond the essentials and you won't have to rush out shopping. The lounge corner has a smart TV, a small bookcase and some games to make the moments spent here truly memorable! Each guest finds their space in the two large and bright double bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom complete with spacious shower. When you wake up you will enjoy the view of the blue sky and the blue sea in an environment furnished with simplicity and elegance.
I'm Antonella and I'm not from Positano. It was my father and my grandmother who taught me to love this corner of paradise where I came to live after I turned 40. Lover of vintage, I am the happy owner of a vintage Vespa and of my great-grandparents' house, built in the 1920s, which I decided to bring back to life by opening its doors to travellers. I am very curious about Italian stories, places and traditions and therefore I play the game of Geocaching: a modern treasure hunt that also allows me to meet many new people.
Laurito is a neighborhood surrounded by greenery, inhabited mostly by people from Positano. It is located in a strategic position to reach Amalfi and Ravello and, on the other side, the Sorrento peninsula and Pompeii. If you don't feel like cooking, within 300 meters there are 3 restaurants, including the very famous "Da Adolfo" for a cheerful lunch on the beach, "Zauss" of the prestigious Hotel San Pietro and, around the corner, the "Taverna del Leone” to savor our traditional dishes or take a takeaway pizza to enjoy on the terrace. The closest grocery stores are in Positano or Praiano, but it is possible to order groceries and have them delivered to your home. Casa Le Calle is on the outskirts and the parking is on the public road. I advise against coming by car due to the heavy traffic and the difficulty of driving. It is possible to have a more relaxing experience by using taxis, rental cars with driver or rental scooters. If you want, I will be happy to help you organize these trips. Bus stops for each direction are a few steps from the entrance gate.
